Come and spend some time at a facilitated spiritual retreat. Rest, be quiet and listen.
Personal Retreats
Come for a personal Spiritual Retreat and enjoy the country surroundings and schedule some time with Susannah for some Spiritual Direction.
Here is what some recent visitors shared.
Susannah, I want to thank you for the wonderful gift of PeaceMakers and your love that has breathed life upon it.
I so appreciated your guidance while on Retreat.
God Bless the wonderful work you are doing and the dreams that are yet to be fulfilled.

I have led several silent small group retreats at Peacemakers. Set in tranquil beautiful and spacious grounds it is a perfect space for that purpose any time of the year.
The house is clean, comfortable, has a well set up kitchen and the wood burner keeps the dining area cosy in winter.

I’ve used the Peacemakers many times over the last few years and found it to be perfect for orientation retreats for my new students (Intermission @Carey Baptist College) and as a formation /retreat space for our intentional community group (Urban Vision).
Susannah, Andrew, and Lisa are very welcoming – that happy mix between being available to support and then leaving you to it! Communication is usually speedy with a helpful willingness to discuss our varied requests.
The house is large enough to spread out and small enough to still connect. The dining area can host a number of people comfortably, the bedrooms are versatile for singles, couples and small families, the upstairs lounge is a great space to teach, pray and hang out – and you can play the BEST game of indoor hide & seek or sardines (so many hiding spots!).
The eco-kaupapa, with easy systems in place to follow, help keep you grounded to the land as do the story and accessibility of the beautifully growing Rongo forest.
